Move over Gamerdad you've got competition

Definitely a sign that video gamers are getting oooold. Joining gamerdad in the burgeoning field of responsible parent gamers reviewing and commenting on kid friendly games while gushing over their little un’s is gamermom.

Setting time limits and distressing over console war games are some of the topics covered. Just what you would expect from upstanding mommy and daddy gamers. If the poor kids had gamermom and gamerdad in the same household will they get any time in front of the consoles? No worries over time limits.

{embed="video-games/dpadz-ads"}Dapdz never had to worry, mom was too busy drinking herself into a stupor and dad was out whoring till the early morning so he could play any games he want for as long as he want. Ahh, sweet childhood memories make my eyes moist.

Ahem, so it’s an all kid extravaganza today. Another kid related item. Hasbro’s Playskool (a company that hopes to bring educational products to children but can’t spell properly) is bringing out a $120 dollar Eyetoy like device that plays licensed games “such as: Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Lazy Town and Blue’s Clues from Nickelodeon.; The Wiggles®, Thomas & Friends™ and Bob the Builder™ from HIT Entertainment; and Elmo and friends from Sesame Street (Sesame Workshop.)”.

Sony should have got on board the 5 to 7 market, now Hasbro is jumping in. However at $120 and $18 for games when PS2’s are selling for $150? Seems too expensive for such a limited device.
