Take-Two’s deal with Major League Baseball’s player association announcement last week have been buttressed with additional deals with other baseball associations. Who knew there were so many? Essentially, the article confirms the exact exclusivity of the bargain. Absolutely no third party publisher or developer can make MLB games. Only the console manufacturers’ themselves.

Interestingly, Take-Two plans to make baseball games year round, especially around Christmas to capture the lucrative holiday purchase timeframe.
